Privacy & Data Protection Policy

1. Who We Are

LeadScrub is operated by LeadScrub Digital Ltd ("we", "our", or "us"), registered in England & Wales (Company No: 14892019). We act as a data controller for information collected on our website (leadscrub.co.uk) and as a data processor for client website inquiry pipelines where agreed.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect information necessary to deliver high-performance web engineering services:

• Contact Information: Name, business email, telephone number, and website address when you request a proposal or call.
• Project Specifications: Business goals, desired feature sets, and domain configurations provided via our interactive planners.
• Payment Metadata: Transaction reference IDs and billing addresses processed securely via Stripe. We do not store card numbers.
• Technical Telemetry: Anonymized analytics (pages viewed, device type) collected via Google Analytics 4 to improve user experience.

3. How We Use Inbound Lead Data

LeadScrub builds lead filtering and anti-spam scrubbing systems. When an inquiry is submitted through our forms or client websites:

• DNS MX records and honeypot traps verify submission validity to discard automated bot spam.
• Valid inquiries are encrypted and delivered directly to the designated business inbox or CRM.
• We never sell, rent, or trade client lead information to third-party marketing networks or data brokers.

4. Your Statutory Rights

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, or request erasure of your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, email us at [email protected] with "Data Request" in the subject line.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use minimal first-party cookies necessary for website security and session handling, alongside Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization enabled. You can adjust your cookie settings through your browser at any time.
